Matt and Mary Lou have been married for almost seven years. Matt was married for almost 45 years to Betty, and Mary Lou was married almost 45 years to Patrick Clinton. Betty and Patrick both were promoted to be with Jesus after valiant battles with cancer. Mary Lou grew up in Bloomfield, New Jersey and was an art teacher in public schools for thirty-seven years. Matt was a military brat and career military officer, Justice Department attorney, and served the Lord six years in the former Soviet Union before settling in Richmond, Virginia as counsel to a nonprofit organization with global operations. Matt is also an ordained minister. Together, Matt and Mary Lou have three children and seven grandchildren. They desire to use this blog as a platform to share personal stories, lessons learned on the road of life, their faith journeys, and observations on contemporary culture. Their aim is to bless family, friends, and others, and to highlight ways that God has blessed them in so many ways that they truly did not deserve.
